Chobe River Boat Cruise

The elephants love frolicking in the river and might even swim through to the islands. Buffalo enjoy the sweet grasses on the islands and occupy these islands in large numbers. Birding while on the river cruise is exceptional. Bee-eaters, fish eagles, waders and many more water birds frequent the riverfront area. A three hour guided river safari, exploring the aquatic and wild lands of the banks of the Chobe River through the Chobe National park and the iconic Sedudu Island overlooking the Namibian floodplains. The Boat safari activities are available from 06:30hrs to 18:00hrs daily therefore, clients will have to determine their preferred 3 hour time slot (morning, mid-morning and afternoon or sunset) for the excursion. This ultimate Chobe river experience includes life jackets (safety), bottled water, snacks and soft drinks.

Clients shall arrange their own preferred snacks and refreshments (beer, whiskey, wine). Guests are advised to bring extras such as binoculars, HD Cameras, sunscreen ointment or insect repellents, comfortable gear and footwear. The activity starts with arrival at jetty (boat station) and the Professional Tour Guide shall conduct a brief introductory session on the expectations and regulations for the excursion.
