DAAFRICAN WILDANESS SAFARI was founded, owned and directed by Mr Polson Tjidala Majaga, a social entrepreneur and community developer from Gweta village in the Central district. Mr Majaga holds a Cambridge certificate from St Joseph’s College, a Diploma in Accounting and Business management, a Diploma in Marketing and currently pursuing a Degree in Marketing and Tourism. His wide fieldwork experience and diversity complemented efforts to participate in the tourism industry and explored tourism prospects in Kasane through DAAFRICAN WILDANESS SAFARI. The company is a dynamic enterprise with a Tourism Enterprise License to operate a mobile safari entity with a fleet of 4×4 open view safari vehicles for mobile camping safaris and game drives, offering Boat Cruise activities and shuttles for transfers. Ebony Camps, which trades under the company seeks to have a tented camp in Nata for sunset experience and cultural tourism and a camp in Lesoma in the Chobe district.

The Managing Director has indigenous knowledge on nature and wildlife as a Motswana born and raised in the jungles of Botswana’s Northern countryside; farming, trekking and tracking, hunting and gathering as well as daily interactions and encounters with wild animals. His passion pushed the urge for the Mobile Safari company, which specializes in Mobile camping Safaris, Boat Cruises, Game Drives, shuttles and cultural tours. An active politician, who has served as a Councillor from 2004 to 2014 and a Member of Parliament for his constituency from 2014 to 2024, serving the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Wildlife and Tourism. Mr Majaga has also served and supported efforts to strengthen capacity and effectiveness of the Gwezotshaa Community Trust.
